The Bozeman Noon Rotary Club recently presented Rotary Merit Awards to middle school students from Chief Joseph Middle School and Sacajawea Middle School.   These students exemplify the Rotary ideals of service, dependability and leadership within their school and community.  Overall, 24 students were recognized for the Rotary Merit Award.  The Bozeman Noon Rotary Club also presented each middle school principal with a $1,000 check for students at risk.  This money provides scholarships for activities, shoes, winter coats, glasses, urgent care, school supplies, and pretty much anything a student may need.  Last but not least, Sierra Fisher-Dykman was awarded a $500 Rotary Student of the Month Scholarship.  Sierra is a senior at Bozeman High School.  The Bozeman Rotary Club has for many years recognized high school students for their outstanding accomplishments in academics, extracurricular activities and leadership skills.  Beginning this academic year (2015-2016) Bozeman Rotary has added a scholarship component to the Student of the Month program.  Congratulations to all of the recipients.
